A walk that lasted for 72 hours. This intrepid tour started from Bandarbon – a region in Chittagong hill tracks. We entered into this adventures world where the paths were narrow and the chances of getting lost once and forever is high. We glanced from the top of the valley the majestic beauties of clouds, the crimson red sky during the dawn and the dusk. These outdoor getaways are a perfect excuse to lose oneself in the wilderness. The night sky was filled with starts and this dreamlike starry sky thousand feet about the sea level creates an illusion of dream even when you’re fully awake. During the day we walked until our feet got blisters all over and we were bleeding through the friction of our skins. As we walked on the edge of the mountain there were pits right next to us. If we slip only once it would take us thousands of feet – a journey to nowhere and that nobody wants. A steep decline right next to us deep into the jungle, into the recess where even sunshine could never penetrates. Your screams will not be heard. Your footsteps could never be traced and your scream for help will never be answered.

The hill tracks of Chittagong has immense beauties hidden inside. The jewels are for the explorers and it needs a lot of planning and effort to uncover its true beauties.
We walked and walked and walked until it was dusk. The sublime nature exposed herself to our eyes the very beauties that are getting lost day by day by the rapid urbanization.

In the middle of nowhere the air is so fresh and cool that it almost touches the bottom of your stomach as you breathe in. As the night set in you feel the chilling weather even during the hot summer. The sweat that took over your entire body suddenly disappears and you need a warm shelter to fend off the cold.
The rice that was served as our dinner was thick – far more thicker than the thin rice we usually consume. I normally never get used to the thick rice merely because its so hard to digest. But lo and behold that was the same rice I was gobbling that night without even chewing enough. All the muscles in my body was tired, exhausted and overwhelmed.

Before it was dawn we started again for the peak of Tajingdong mountain and after walking for another two hours of so we went there. Our mission accomplished. As we gathered ourselves at the top we took a deep sigh of joy and thrown ourselves to the nature and what raw energies that our mother nature has to offer.
